Oregon Tide
OREGON TIDE, 2021. 48” x 60” $5,000
At the beginning of the summer we set out on a road trip to the Oregon Coast. Initially the trip was to attend a wedding, but we added a few days to get some much needed fresh ocean air!
Sneaking out at Sunrise and staying out until Sunset was a delight and joy for myself and my family. The kids thought seeing the Sunset was incredibly special. For me, the sunrise over the ocean was pure serenity and fulfillment.
Fast forward to today, and that experience has been holding onto me tightly. Finally, the color, textures and feelings flowed onto the canvas. The final piece of art is a photograph of wet paint pooling up and flowing on the canvas, mimicking the tide flowing and swirling at sunrise.
